Halloween Lunch Box Tart

In a small corner of Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will find Woody’s Lunch Box. Woody’s Lunch Box is a tiny quick-service restaurant that looks like a giant lunchbox and serves things that, well, you might find in a lunchbox. One of my favorite things that they serve are their Lunch Box Tarts. Not only are these Tarts delicious, but they also change seasonally, and you sometimes might find them filled with lemon, chocolate, or berries.

On a recent trip, we tried the Halloween Lunch Box Tart, and I knew that I needed to try to recreate it as soon as we got home. Luckily, I found that you can make a delicious replica of this treat in no time at all.

To start, you will need to gather Pillsbury pie crust dough, Nutella, vanilla frosting, purple food coloring, sprinkles, and candy corn. Also, go ahead and preheat your oven to 450 degrees.

Roll out both pieces of pie crust dough on top of each other and then cut the dough into six equal rectangular sections.

Now, remove the top piece of dough, spread an even layer of Nutella down the middle of the bottom piece of dough, and put the top layer back on. Repeat this will all six of your rectangles.

Seal the sides of each rectangle with a fork.

Once your oven is preheated, bake your rectangles for 7 minutes or until golden brown. Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool completely.

While your baked tarts are cooling, add purple food coloring to your vanilla frosting and MIX. I had to add a lot of food coloring to my frosting to get the color I wanted.

Now that your tarts are cooled, and your frosting is purple, it is time to decorate! Spread purple frosting on each tart and top with sprinkles and candy corn. Enjoy!

Sending love and magic.
