Boo to you! It’s almost Halloween, and I have the perfect crafts for toddlers, adults, and everyone in between. So grab your scissors and glue, and let’s make a Mickey Pumpkin.
To start you will need:
foam board
black cardstock or construction paper
orange tissue paper
glue
scissors
First of all, go ahead and print out the Tissue Paper Mickey Pumpkin Print Out. I printed mine on cardstock to make it sturdier, but you can use any piece of paper. Once the print-out is printed, cut out the pumpkin shape and Mickey’s face.
Next, trace your pumpkin shape onto the foam board and carefully cut it out with scissors or an exact knife. Trace the ears from the pumpkin, and the Mickey face onto the black cardstock and cut that out as well.
Cut your tissue paper into small squares.
On your foam board pumpkin, spread a thin layer of glue. Wrap the tissue paper squares around the end of a pencil, pen, or even your finger and carefully push them onto the gluey pumpkin. Cover the whole pumpkin except for the ears. *This part doesn’t have to be perfect, and if you are doing this with a child, you can have them put the tissue paper on however they like.
Once your pumpkin is covered with tissue paper, add your two black ears onto the foam board ears. Finally, add the Mickey face to the pumpkin and let it dry.
Ta-Da! A precious Mickey pumpkin, perfect for decoration. I hope you love this as much as I do.
Sending love and magic.
